Marc Canter was the moderator of Tuesday’s session “Bringing social to software: radical change is coming.” Who could better moderate a Web conference than “Big Mouth” Canter?
Canter is CEO of Broadband Mechanics. As a “red diaper baby” (his parents were members of the Communist Party of the USA, the CPUSA), Canter found in the Web a new human cause. He describes himself as an “idea guy.” He’s one of the thinkers of the social networks of tomorrow.

Goojet: Startup Competition winner
So … the winner of the Web3 Startup Competition has been announced! The prize goes to French startup GooJet (i.e. Good Gadjet). GooJet beat out around 120 other companies for the honour. GooJet has created different widgets for mobile phones, in order to give access to community services and tools.
