Entrepreneur ; cofounder of the file-sharing application KaZaA, the peer-to-peer application Skype and Altnet, the network that sells commercial music to KaZaA users

Currently working with his partner Niklas Zennström on Joost - an interactive software for distributing TV shows and other types of videos over the Web

Career :

No formal higher education since dropping out of high school before starting working at Ciber-City, one of Denmark’s first Internet sevice providers (ISP). Later worked at Télé2 where he met Niklas Zennström.

Influence :

Named in Time Magazine’s 2006 list of the 100 most influential people. KaZaA is the most downloaded software ever (370 million downloads).

Hobbies :

Winter swimming, skydiving, pool, martial arts
